Prime Social Group Announce Their Lineup for 2019 Breakaway Festival in Charlotte, North Carolina, October 4th & 5th

Today, Prime Social Group announces the lineup for Breakaway Music Festival’s third installment in Charlotte, North Carolina, October 4th and 5th, 2019. As Prime Social Group’s marquee cross-nation event, festival-goers can expect performances from some of EDM and hip-hops elite.

Platinum artist and Atlanta rapper Future will take his place as the hip-hop headliner of the festival. The celebrated rapper continuously dominates the charts and his seventh album The Wizrd debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200, making it his sixth number one album in the US. Joining him will be fellow Atlanta rapper, Lil Baby. Lil Baby stepped into the spotlight when his album “Harder Than Ever” gained traction in the rap community, featuring tracks like “Yes Indeed” with Drake. He’s gone on to collaborate on with artists like Lil Yachty, Gunna, and Young Thug.

Denver-based dubstep aficionado Illenium will headline the EDM stage. Illenium’s albums “Ashes” and “Awake” have topped the Billboard charts since 2016 and have featured collaborations with a-list artists like Quinn XCII, Daya, Emilie Brandt, and more. Top-tier billing continues with veteran DJ and renowned producer, Kaskade, best known for his new wave influences and uplifting, melodic productions that have helped shape the progressive house scene over the last decade including tracks like “Disarm You”, “I Remember”, and “Never Sleep Alone.” EDM programming continues with Australia’s most popular export, FISHER. The “Ya Kidding” surfer turned DJ has been commanding attention with his mischievous and energetic tech house performances and is sure to attract a lively audience.

The lineup extends further with performances by French house up-and-comer Dombresky, introspective EDM songwriter Chelsea Cutler, West Coast lyrical prowess from rapper and vocalist Bryce Vine, Canadian EDM powerhouse Ekali, East-Carolina flow from Ducey Gold, Prime Artist’s own Kid Quill, melodic indie darkness by DeathByRomy, New Orleans rap legend Devious, and South African EDM heavyweight Daniels Jack.
